2023 Tacoma OR Auto Transmission Problems
Drove daughters 2023 Tacoma OR and while going down a hill at 20 mph the auto transmission went out of gear and the engine reved up. Few seconds later went back into gear and drove normal. I said to daughter “what was that” she said, yea it does that, sometimes when I am on highway. Called dealer they want $185 to scan to “see” if it needs program update, cannot tell by vin alone. Note vehicle still under 5 yr, 60K drive train warranty and has 30k on it now. I did get the extended…
