Stall after speed bump no crank afterward in P or N

(symptoms from the kid driving it now out of town)
1998 2wd Tacoma
2.4L
Auto Transmission
170K miles
Almost back to his place went over a speed bump truck stalled. No crank after in either P or N. Coasted into the parking space. What besides checking the relays to see if one popped loose? Truck had just made a 1.5 hour trip with no trouble until he got almost home. Thanks!
