Steering wheel, vertical play
23 tacoma, 63k miles, in New England, lots of rough Maine roads, North Maine woods and Golden road, Been chasing down a noise. Front suspension is good, already checked t hat.
I noticed that I have clicking sound when the vehicle is stationary, not moving. This noise is from when the steering wheel has up and down play in it. I can do this with my hands. It worsens on rough roads, but smooth roads its fine.
