First transmission service on a new 2026 Tacoma Sport
So I’ve always done the first oil change at roughly 1000kms or about 600 miles. The next at 2500 km’s and then 5000 kms. Then onto the regular 8000km/km mile schedule. I think with most of my driving being at heigh speeds this should be good to keep the turbo happy.
BUT, one thing i never really put a lot of thought into was the first transmission drain and fill or other similar service. Should that be done at my first 5000 miles/8000kms service to remove any break in debris like clutch…
