CV Axle Rubbing Issue
So I replaced the passenger-side inner CV axle seal today, and the job went pretty smooth. Now as I finished reassembling everything I noticed the the outer most fin of the inner CV boot is rubbing on my coilover. FWIW I have Icon 2.5 coilovers.
Nothing is obviously assembled incorrectly, from what I can see. My best guess is that I may have let the axle droop while reinstalling the coilover, and the boots may have stretched out a bit and I failed to “recompress” them before stabbing the…
