can old tires still be new and safe?
I have my new take offs from my 2017 Tacoma SR still sitting in the garage mounted on the base steelie wheels with caps and lugs. I’ve read tires break down after 7 or 8 years and should be replaced no matter what condition they maybe in. These tires have 1 winter on them (maybe 3000 miles) before they were replaced with aftermarkets.
I have a neighbor who would like to have them but insists on paying me for them. He has the same truck except color and this would be a simple swap for him…
