Rack & Pinion

I brought my truck in for service. Got a call saying they found a leak coming form the drivers side and that I would have to replace the rack & pinion. My truck is fairly new, 2023 with 40k miles. I guess its not covered under the powertrain warranty because its EPS. Is this a common failure the Tacoma? Dealership wants $2k.

I don’t see any leaks in my garage, truck feels fine.
