Reg Cab Auto to Manual Conversion (3RZ) – Feedback/Opinion Request

Hey folks,

Going to making this conversion. I have been collecting smaller parts (ECU, shift boot, clutch assembly, etc), but now coming to transmission purchase.

I’m torn. I can do the W59 or go with R150F with the 2TR-FE Bellhousing from a 2005+ Tacoma.

I like the idea of R150F…as my truck is almost 330,000 miles…if I rebuild. I will convert to 5VZ, thus setting up the R150F even better.

Let me know your thoughts.
