Fouling #5 Coil???
Hey gang. I have a 2009 Tacoma 4.0L 4WD. A few months back I had a hesitation that had me worried, then I lost my #5 cylinder and it went into limp mode. I replaced the coil with a Duralast and ordered 6 Denso coils. It turns out I got knockoffs so I order 6 from Toyota. I replaced the plugs when I changed to coils. Now I have an occasional misfire in 4th gear, under slight load, and RPM between 1 and 2k. Last coil looked to have a green build up. I would post a pic but it is disabled. Any…
